Kristina D Allred L.Ac, MSOM, DOM

Kristina received her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2009. She has practiced in Virginia, Arizona, Utah, and Idaho. Kristina gained invaluable experience with clinical internships at Santa Fe Women’s Health, Indian Health Services Hospital of New Mexico, St. Vincent Hospital and Parham Doctors Hospital U.S. Veteran’s Acupuncture program.

Kristina has enriched her practice with continuing education in herbal medicine and nutrition with The Association for Traditional Studies, Voyage Botanica, Standard Process, and IFNH (International Foundation for Nutrition and Health)  She served as a volunteer with the University of Arizona Cancer Center, and guest instructor in vibrational medicine at the University of Arizona Medical School in the Integrative Medicine rotation for residents. She wrote and instructed a Master’s level Acupuncture point location course for students at Lotus College of Integrated Medicine, as well as community health classes in Utah, Idaho, and Arizona.

As a certified Usui Reiki Master, Kristina trained under Phyllis Furumoto, the lineage bearer for Usui Shiki Ryoho. Her work is deeply informed by ancestral healing initiations and training from elder teachers in the Americas and abroad. Her greatest teacher is nature (the Dao). She loves gardening, being outdoors, wild food, books, and learning about medicine practices and the convergence of these practices around the world. Basically, she is a big nerd.

She is excited to join the incredible team at Mckay Healing Arts, where she can continue to develop her skills and practice in service to her community.
